Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 29, 2025

VistaLyn ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our SaaS platform.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Platform includes:

a. Enterprise Account Information

When your organization registers for an account, we collect an email address, your organization's name, and your industry. This information is necessary to create and manage your shared enterprise account and to provide our services. We do not require personal information from each individual collaborator.

b. Your Content (Enterprise Architecture Data)

We collect and store the data your team creates and uploads to the Platform. This includes all information within your entity and relation catalogs, such as names, descriptions, custom fields, and the relationships between them ("Your Content"). Your Content is the core data required for the Platform to function.

c. Information for AI Features

To provide our AI-powered features (such as Yout EA Assistant, EA Consultant, Entity Assistant, and Application Business Fit analysis), we send relevant portions of Your Content or metadata to Google's generative AI models. For most features, this includes the data within your catalogs. For the EA Consultant feature, we only send a summary of your framework (catalog names, field names, and relationships) and not the specific data within them. We do not send your enterprise account information (like your email) to these models. Google's use of this data is governed by their Privacy Policy and specific AI service terms.

d. Financial Data

All payment transactions for subscriptions are processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect or store any of your financial information, such as credit card numbers. We only receive transaction confirmations, subscription status, and customer identifiers from Stripe, which are necessary for managing your subscription. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy for more details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in the following ways:

  • To create and manage your enterprise account.
  • To provide, operate, and maintain our Platform and its features, including concurrent access for your team.
  • To process transactions and manage your subscription.
  • To respond to your support requests and questions.
  • To send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your Content and account information are stored on Google Cloud Firestore, a database service provided by Google. Google employs robust security measures to protect data. Data is encrypted in transit (using TLS) and at rest. You can learn more about Google Cloud's security practices here.

We take reasonable measures to help protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Your team shares responsibility for safeguarding the shared account credentials.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information or Your Content. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Service Providers: We share information with third-party vendors and service providers that perform services for us, such as Google (for data hosting and AI features) and Stripe (for payment processing).
  • To Comply with Laws: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

5. Your Data Rights and Choices

Your organization has certain rights regarding its data:

  • Access and Update: Your team can access and update the enterprise account information and Your Content at any time through the workspace.
  • Data Export: Your team can export your catalog data at any time from the workspace.
  • Account Deletion: Your team can request the deletion of the enterprise account and all associated data. This action is irreversible. When the account is deleted, we will delete all of Your Content from our active databases and anonymize the registration email.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
